Self-Care Wasn't Built to Defend Against Psychological Warfare
For leaders who know their team needs more than a wellness day — and are ready to offer something real.
We are living through a coordinated assault on the minds, bodies, and spirits of people doing justice work. Psychological warfare — the deliberate use of fear, confusion, and exhaustion to fragment communities and suppress resistance — is not new. But for many of us its current intensity is.
Traditional self-care was not designed for this. Bubble baths are nice — but they cannot metabolize soul wounds, racialized trauma, or the chronic dysregulation that comes from living and working inside systems designed to break you.
This workshop introduces a different framework: Self-Reverence — a healing-forward approach that invites us to move beyond mass consumerism and coping strategies toward practices the help us truly heal.
A healing-forward workshop for organizations whose people are doing justice work in an increasingly hostile climate
